-Our Menu of the Week is available on Facebook and Instagram. Scroll to the bottom of this page for links to the sites.

- If you would like to place an order for an item on the Menu of the Week, please call (314) 858-1117 to place an order.

- The only items available for pre-order online are the items listed on this site. If you are interested in a custom cake beyond the bounds of our online menu, including wedding cakes, please email orders@brittsbakehouse.com.

- The soonest you can pick up online orders is two days. If the day is not an option on the mini calendar at check out, it means that day has already sold out. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays. (We need the extra day to hunt down ingredients right now!)

- If you did not receive a confirmation email your order did not go through.

- If your confirmation email says “awaiting payment” or “payment processing” it’s because the email system is faster than our credit card system. You do not have to do anything. You have already paid.

- All pre-orders will be available at the pick up station just inside the door. The order will be clearly labeled with the name used to place the order.

- Gift cards do not currently work online. We apologize for the inconvenience.

- All ingredients are listed on each individual product page. We do not make ingredient substitutions at this time.

Owner, Head Baker

Britt firmly believes that just because you’re gluten-free doesn’t mean you don’t deserve good cake. So, she makes really, really good cake.

Britt was diagnosed with gluten intolerance in 2009. After briefly mourning her beloved gluten, she resolved to continue to find joy in baking and create delicious gluten-free baked goods.

After trying nearly every gluten-free flour on the market and borrowing both traditional baking techniques and new-fangled methods, Britt was able to create indulgent treats that had people begging for seconds. Cupcakes make Britt unreasonably happy, so she thought it was time for her to start spreading the love. 

Britt’s Bakehouse creates choice baked goods, made lovingly in small batches in an entirely gluten-free environment. Using the best ingredients to create the finest textures, flavors, and appearance, she elevates gluten-free baking into a joyful experience.

Bread Baker, Baker Job Posting

Britt’s Bakehouse is searching for a Bread Baker as well as a Baker, full time or part time are available for both positions. Both will be an integral part of the Bakehouse Team. Previous kitchen experience is a plus, strong work ethic and positive attitude are a must!

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

    • Preparing and baking gluten-free baked goods (cakes, frostings, cookies, pies, breads, etc.) according to Britt’s Bakehouse recipes and standards.

    • Assisting with the finishing of cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.

    • Complying with food safety requirements (in addition to maintaining a gluten-free environment!)

Team members are:

    • Friendly, self-motivated, and team-oriented

    • Dedicated to providing the best customer service

    • Willing and eager to learn about new baking and cooking techniques

    • Vigilant about clients’ dietary concerns

Front of House Staff Job Posting

Britt’s Bakehouse is searching for a part-time Front of House Staff as a member of the Bakehouse team. Previous cashier or counter attendant experience is a plus, strong work ethic and positive attitude are a must! Hours are in the afternoons and evenings of the weekdays, mornings and afternoons of Saturdays.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

    · Assisting customers with their orders and checking them out at the register

    · Maintaining a clean and welcoming front of house area

    · Helping kitchen staff with basic tasks as needed (e.g., glazing scones)

     · Dishwashing

    · Complying with food safety requirements (in addition to maintaining a gluten-free-environment!)

    · Friendly, self-motivated, and team-oriented

   · Dedicated to providing the best customer service
